From a virtual world to a real one.

Rage Bait Apparel didn't start in a boardroom.

It started because I needed somewhere to escape.

I first stepped into VR during a time when the real world wasn't exactly being kind to me. I was struggling with my mental health and, for a while, Horizon Worlds became somewhere I could switch everything else off.

What I found there was much more than an escape.

I found a family.

A completely random collection of people from different places and different lives who didn't care where I'd come from, what I'd been through or what baggage I was carrying. They just accepted me for me.

In that virtual world I met some of the people who would completely change my real one.

I met the woman who became my future wife and the mother of our baby girl who will be joining us in 2027.

I met friends who became family.

And I met my chosen brother, Robert Minor, better known in VR as TheMinors4real.

Robert is a comic, a professional wind-up merchant and one of the funniest VR trolls I've ever met. Give him five minutes and he'll probably have half the room laughing and the other half wondering what the hell just happened.

Somewhere amongst the trolling, bad decisions and questionable conversations, we had an idea.

Rage Bait Apparel.

A clothing store made inside VR for the people who lived there.

It was loud. It was stupid. It was provocative.

It was us.

And people actually bought it.

We sold loads of virtual clothing before the platform came crashing down around it, and Rage Bait disappeared back into the digital wilderness.

But the idea never really went away.

Because for me, VR wasn't just a game.

Horizon Worlds gave me part of my life back.

It gave me friendships.
It gave me a family.
It gave me Rebecca.
It gave me stories I never expected to have.

And Rage Bait was part of that story.

So now we're doing something that seemed ridiculous when we first started.

We're taking it out of the virtual world.

Real clothes. Real people. Same questionable attitude.

Rage Bait Apparel was born in VR.

Now it's escaped into the real world.
